1. Monad
Monad, humming bell,
The indistinguishable
Center of all things.
Rings about the wood,
Like ripples about the drop;
Deep resin, time-etched.
Chimes of lineage,
Tolling reverberations,
Backwards & forwards.
2. Love Call
Gold gossamer strands
Billowing from my cauldron
Of obsidian.
3. Birds of Paradise
Courtship rituals,
Outfits and mannerisms
Between animals.
5. Lotus Eaters
4. phosphors/bokeh
Pulse dictates impulse,
Charged air undulating through
Fields of blinking lights.
Eat, Sleep, Have Visions
Of luminous filigree
And frothing champagne.
Perplexing floods of
Unreal faces and phrases
Convince me I'm home.
With pen and paper,
Strike the light and turn the page
Adorned with hot wax.

Love is a wellspring
Of cascading liquid gold
From a hart's antlers.
Engraving the world's
Vast lakes and tributaries
Like ingraining roots.
Nag, maid, archer, fool,
Warding dances in the dark,
Hallowed procession.

Time after a time.

Unfettered, trudging,
Sifting through the grime and soot
Of a mind stripped bare.
An alluvium
Of uncontrolled sensation
Out of the stillness.
Torporous rancor,
Ink emitted by the sound
Of gouging metal.

My wits wonder up
Winding wealds in which I walk
And sow soul seedlings.
13. komo (breath of hope)
Past swaying currents,
Amidst warm air I frequent
The palace for tea.
The light through the trees
Does not take the shape of the
Gaps through which it shines.
I must keep breathing,
For the light to gleam anew,
Round, whole as the sun.
